I began weaving after university when I discovered and subsequently started running a small vertical woollen mill in the Highlands of Scotland. Over the years I diversified into handwoven furnishings, clothing, accessories and knitwear, finally relocating to Cumbria.

Products from the old powerlooms and handlooms were sold worldwide from the mill at Armathwaite, where I had a large studio from which I ran courses in weaving, feltmaking and spinning.

Nowadays, I run Workshops in Schools and the Community providing all equipment and materials necessary for weaving and feltmaking. I weave my Products in the Borders of Scotland.
